My name is Tom Lochtefeld, and I am the founder and lead inspector for Nearwater Property Group Home Inspections. My previous work experience includes working on Wall Street where I was head of Market Risk Reporting for JP Morgan. My meticulous attention to processes and details was of paramount importance in that role - especially during the financial meltdown of 2008, and I bring those same qualities to home inspection.

My true passion has always been a love for houses and their history. From growing up and maintaining my family's historic home on Nantucket Island, to caring for my own homes and five investment properties, I have spent years gaining hands-on knowledge about how houses work.
